Our History
Our story began with four women "who just wanted their kids to come home for Christmas and have something to do", 'Tis the Season originally focused on creating A “Hallmark-style” Christmas for downtown Laurinburg. Due to the overwhelming success of ‘Tis The Season, our team expanded our mission to undergird the current ongoing efforts for the revitalization of downtown. Our strength lies in our community volunteers! They work tirelessly, year round, in planning events and initiatives. Our volunteers include students in the local school system, retirees, and business professionals.
Staff & Volunteers
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of all that we do! 'Tis The Season is 100% staffed by volunteers from the local community. Do you love all things "joy & tinsel?" If so, contact the store and we will share the current available opportunities.
Vision For The Future
It quickly became apparent that a much larger community experience could be created throughout the season. Our desire to make a larger impact in our community resulted in the expansion of our operational mission that will engage our community, make Laurinburg become a travel destination, and advance our economic goals.
